Bonnie Semenick's health care career spans more than 30 years, ranging from nursing supervisor and director of risk management to administrative director.
She joined Hill, Adams, Hall & Schieffelin, P.A. in 1999 where she works with the firm's attorneys to provide nursing consultation across the entire litigation spectrum from pre-suit matters to the courtroom. Her responsibilities include review of pre-suit cases; retaining and conferencing with medical experts (Physicians and Nurses); preparing memos of expert opinions for attorneys and clients; preparing denial affidavits; medical record organization, summaries and chronologies; and medical research.
A Registered Nurse in Florida and Pennsylvania, Bonnie also holds an MBA degree, is a licensed health care risk manager and certified professional in healthcare quality. Her professional memberships include the National and Florida Associations of Legal Nurse Consultants, the Florida Society of Healthcare Risk Managers and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. In addition, she serves on the Nursing Advisory Committee for Valencia Community College.
